Dark Veil #1 introduces DEMENA, a spirit so wicked she was thrust out of hell. By possessing a Mesopotamian princess, Demena has amassed immense influence over the centuries by controlling politicians, celebrities, and religious leaders.
She has a horde of shadowy minions at her disposal who carry out her every command.
When an otherworldly event rocks the campus of Mercy University in modern day Nashville Tennessee, Demena senses a threat to her rule. Demena sends out her YUKI-ONNA, a wickedly powerful ice demon, to investigate.
The only thing that stands between humanity is a young woman, Laura, who has mistakenly tapped into a dark power. Possessed by the DEATH GODDESS, Laura must master her new and terrifying abilities to stand against the greatest evil humanity has ever faced: THE DRUDE.
